What do we do?
Signal processing
We possess broad experience in analog handling of small signals. In most cases the procedure consists of switching from physical to an electrical quantity and then preparing the signal for analog-to-digital conversion.
We are acquainted with a wide range of analog-to-digital conversion methods and coverter types. Whole process is always designed to result with the best performance of final product. We consider at least:
- device specifications,
- achieving metrological and reliability requirements,
- final cost of product.
Processors and microcontrollers
Depending on necessity we equip our devices with both simple 8-bit microcontrollers and 32-bit processors from MC683xx, PowerPC (especially MPC8540) and other families, preferrably from Freescale (Motorola). A wide variety of Freescale's products allows us to choose the most adequate solution in relation to product's cost and performance.
Digital signal processors
Wherever data quantity is big, sampling frequency is high or fast repetition of the same operations is required, we make use of DSP devices. Depending on necessity we apply fixed- or floating-point processors, preferrably from Texas Instruments.
Programmable logic devices
To achieve better efficiency with avoiding unnecessary entanglement we apply programmable logic devices. These are a great solution wherever advanced digital logic operations, sequential circuits or specific microcontroller's peripherals are required. We prefer Xilinx FPGA devices from Virtex and Spartan families.
